TPR expands its position in natural and organic segment.

TPR Holdings LLC, New York, NY, has acquired Trilogy Fragrances, a developer and manufacturer of natural and organic fragrances for the personal care industry. A purchase price was not disclosed. “The natural and organic fragrance sector is an attractive market. As a leader in the natural fragrance category, Trilogy offers a fantastic platform for strong expansion and further category growth,” said Brian Robinson, president, TPR Holdings. Prior to the sale, Trilogy’s majority shareholders were members of the Pisano family. “For over 75 years, the Pisano family’s focus has been on its core ingredients,” said Richard Pisano Jr. “In our decision to sell the business to TPR, we considered that they were an organization with proven global expertise and substantial resources that should provide a more appropriate fit for Trilogy Fragrances.” All Trilogy staff and management is being retained and will remain at the Lakewood, NJ facility.
